The overall objective of this course is to help you to improve your ability to intelligently and clearly express your views on a wide variety of business topics.

In this course, you will be introduced to the American judicial and legislative systems. You will become familiar with legal terminology, learn how to analyze cases and also understand how legal documents are composed. This course is yours to design. Your instructor is therefore prepared to teach you about a range of relevant topics. Important Note: Legal English is not an introductory law course.

Medical English introduces medical terminology as used in a variety of common medical settings, vocabulary needed when greeting patients and discussing symptoms and diagnoses with them, as well as language used in discussing prognoses. Your teacher will highlight some of the ways in which medicine and public health services are conducted differently here in the US than in many other countries.
